A man has been rushed to a major trauma centre as a priority after a collision in South Harrow.
The collision, between a moped and car, happened at the junction of Eastcote Lane and Alexander Ave at around 10:20pm last night.
The junction was blocked off by police until around 2:30am this morning affecting the H9, H10 and 114 bus routes that were diverted at the time of the incident.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.21pm yesterday (1 September) to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a moped at the junction of Alexandra Avenue and Eastcote Lane, Harrow.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and a medic in a fast response car. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a man at the scene before taking him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
