A recent increase in shed burglaries has alarmed residents in Belmont, Harrow.
The local Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) Belmont has taken to social media to share crime prevention advice after a string of incidents.
MPS Belmont shared on their X social media account, “There have been a string of burglaries on the ward whereby the suspects have targeted garden sheds & power tools. For more crime prevention advice on how to keep your out-building secure, please visit the link below.” (visit this link.)
Residents are urged to secure their garden sheds and report any suspicious activity to the authorities. Community groups and watch programs are working alongside the police to enhance security measures and ensure safety.
