Construction work at Northwick Park Hospital closes car park zones

Construction work at Northwick Park Hospital, on the border of Harrow and Brent, has led to the temporary closure of two car park zones.

The London North West University Healthcare NHS trust, which oversees Northwick Park Hospital, announced the closure of car park zones 1 and 2, situated opposite the Accident & Emergency (A&E) department, due to necessary construction work. The closures began yesterday Sunday, September 3.

In a statement posted on their X account, the NHS trust explained, “On Sunday 3 September, construction work will begin outside A&E, which will involve pedestrian and traffic diversions. To do this, we need to close car park zones 1 and 2, opposite A&E.”

Patients and visitors to the hospital are advised to make use of alternative parking facilities during this period. The suggested parking options include:

  • The Multi-storey Car Park at the Front Entrance of the Hospital: The multi-storey car park should provide easy access for patients and visitors.
  • St. Mark’s Hospital Car Park: Another nearby parking option that can accommodate those visiting the hospital.
  • The Renal Services Parking Bays: Patients and visitors can use the renal services parking bays.

Employees of Northwick Park Hospital are encouraged to use the staff multi-storey car park to minimise any inconvenience caused by the temporary closures.
