A collision involving two vehicles at around 2:30pm resulted in the temporary closure of Alexandra Avenue in Rayners Lane, Harrow.
Police have confirmed that a woman has been rushed to hospital with a back injury, as of now, there are no updates on her condition.
Police are trying to locate the driver of the other vehicle who reportedly left the scene.
The incident led to the road closure in both directions until around 8pm.
A spokesperson for Met Police said in a statement: “Police were called at 13:50hrs on Wednesday, 6 September to reports of a collision involving three cars in Alexandra Avenue, Harrow.
“Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and the London Fire Brigade.
“One of the drivers, a woman, was taken to hospital with a back injury. Her condition is being assessed.
“It was reported that another driver, a man, left the scene after the collision. Enquiries are ongoing to locate him.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 1.55pm yesterday (6 September) to reports of a road traffic collision on Alexandra Avenue, Rayners Lane.
“We sent an ambulance crew and treated a patient at the scene before taking them to hospital.”
