Taz Khan MBE, Founder of the London’s Community Kitchen and proud resident of Harrow, was honoured with a spiritual blessing by Guru Bhageshwar Sarkar, facilitated by Guru RajRajeshwar of Siddhashram UK.
Taz Khan’s contributions to society have garnered recognition from a wide array of notable figures, King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, UN Ambassadors, international politicians, celebrities, and professionals from various fields.
His community work has garnered global respect in his attempts to eliminate food waste through his ongoing work at London’s Community Kitchen in Wealdstone.
The kitchen itself, under the leadership of Taz Khan, who was honoured with an MBE in 2022, embodies the ethos of ‘zero waste, zero hunger.’ Throughout the pandemic and beyond, Taz Khan and his team have been relentless in their efforts to ensure that no one in London goes hungry.
Their mission extends beyond providing food; it encompasses minimising waste and maximising impact, making a profound difference in the lives of countless individuals.
Guru RajRajeshwar, another Harrow resident, has embraced the role of an advocate for interfaith harmony. His goal is straightforward: to foster religious harmony in Harrow, where individuals from diverse backgrounds and faiths unite under the banner of understanding and mutual respect.
His proactive initiatives, including the organisation of interfaith dialogues, discussions, and events, have sparked a sense of unity within the community.
In a recent ceremony, Guru Bhageshwar Sarkar bestowed a spiritual blessing upon Taz Khan. It served as a powerful illustration of how shared values and compassion have the ability to bring together individuals from diverse backgrounds and walks of life.
