18-year-old man charged with Stanmore murder

Detectives have charged a man with the murder of 19-year-old Anis Omar Zen in Harrow.

Saeed Ibrahim, 18, of Stanmore, was arrested on Thursday and charged yesterday, Friday 8 September.

Police were called at 16:50hrs on Monday, 4 September to Masefield Avenue in Stanmore following reports that a man had been stabbed.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended. Anis was found injured. Despite the efforts of officers and paramedics he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

Anis was from Harrow. His family are being supported by specialist officers.

Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation, supported by colleagues from the North West BCU.

Police have also confirmed that a 19-year-old man who was arrested near the scene on suspicion of murder has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
