28-year-old man rushed to hospital after being stabbed at Burnt Oak station

A 28-year-old man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed at Burnt Oak station yesterday morning.

Following the incident, police conducted a search of Edgware station which was closed off for several hours.

A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called Burnt Oak underground station at 7.30am yesterday (10 September) following reports of a stabbing.

“Officers attended alongside paramedics and a 28-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment, his injuries are not thought to be life threatening or life changing.

“A search at Edgware station was conducted linked to this incident.”
