A woman was taken to hospital as a precaution this afternoon (19 September) after reportedly being assaulted in Harrow Town Centre.
Multiple reports posted by Harrow Online Group members on Facebook noted a police cordon ‘outside St Anns’ on College Road, just opposite Harrow Bus Station.
Police have confirmed that a boy, 16, has been arrested on suspicion of assault.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called at 13:50hrs on Tuesday, 19 September to reports that a woman had been assaulted on College Road in Harrow.
“Officers attended. The woman was taken to hospital as a precaution.
“A 16-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of assault and taken to a north London police station.”
