Prepare for a day of enjoyment at Roxbourne Park in Harrow this Sunday, September 24th!
Harrow residents and visitors are welcomed to join the Family Funday and Dog Show at Roxy Fest 23, at Roxbourne Park, Cannon Ln, Harrow, Pinner HA5 1JF.
The event begins at 7am with volunteers gathering to set up, and if you’re eager to lend a hand in putting up signs, gazebos, bunting, or fencing, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. For those interested in getting involved, please reach out to roxyevents@outlook.com for more information.
Starting at noon, the Family Funday and Dog Show offers an array of entertainment and activities. These include fairground rides suitable for all ages, the opportunity to register for the dog show (with registration open until just 5 minutes before each round), a variety of stalls offering food, crafts, charity items, and community engagement opportunities. Not to forget the Roxy Café where you can indulge in tea, coffee, cakes, and soft drinks.
Throughout the day, the stage and arena will host live performances and demonstrations, including live music from talented local performers and impressive displays by the Pinner RFC team.
The dog show will feature various rounds, such as Roxy Seniors for dogs aged 10 and older, Roxy Pup for young puppies under 2 years old, Roxy Young Handler for children under 15 years old to showcase their dog-handling skills, and awards for the Best Boy, Good Girls, Pair of Dogs, and a special Dog Show Special Award to be presented by the Mayor of Harrow, Cllr Ramji Chauhan.
As the day comes to a close, the Roxy Café will wrap up its service at 4:30 pm, and Roxy Fest 23 will conclude at 5 pm with stalls and the fairground closing down. For stall pitch inquiries and further information, please contact roxyevents@outlook.com.
