A man has been charged following a rape in Edgware.
Aurel Surugiu, 40, of Highview Gardens, Edgware, appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 28 September where he was charged with three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault by penetration.
He was remanded in custody [next court date and venue awaits].
Surugiu was arrested for these offences on Tuesday, 25 September.
The charges relate to an incident involving a woman in Watling Park, Edgware on Monday, 25 September.
