Burst water main in Stanmore causes road closure

Harrow Council has granted permission to Affinity Water to close Kerry Court for urgent repairs following a burst water pipe on London Road, Stanmore.

Temporary traffic lights have been installed outside Stanmore station, and the road closure is expected to last for 5 working days.

Harrow Council tweeted the update, assuring residents that the repairs should be completed, and the roads cleared, by Friday, October 6th.

They posted via their socials: “We’ve given Affinity Water permission to close Kerry Court so they can repair a burst water pipe in London Road, Stanmore.

“Temporary traffic lights outside Stanmore station in addition to the road closure. The works could take 5 working days, so should be clear by Friday 6 Oct.”
