Park Way in Ruislip Manor faced closure yesterday evening as emergency services responded to a vehicle engulfed in flames outside Tesco Express at around 8:15pm.
Jambuster tweeted: “B455 Ruislip Road East (Both Directions) between Greenford Road and Clifton Road – Road closed due to a vehicle fire. Diverting traffic is slow moving on Greenford Road, Ruislip Road East and Argyle Ro #LondonTraffic.”

Traffic diversions were causing slow-moving conditions on Greenford Road around the time of the incident.
Footage sent to Harrow Online shows the vehicle on fire in Ruislip Manor, the road has since reopened.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said, “We were called to reports of a vehicle fire on Park Way in Ruislip on 6 October.
“A vehicle was destroyed in the fire. Part of external signage at a shop was also damaged by fire. One woman left the vehicle before firefighters arrived.
“The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers received 21 calls about the fire. The Brigade was called at 1935 and the fire was extinguished by 2049. A fire engine from Harrow Fire Station attended the scene.”
