Moped rider rushed to hospital after Harrow collision

A moped rider was hospitalised after a collision in Harrow yesterday evening (16 October).

The incident happened shortly before 7:30pm on Lascelles Avenue, Harrow, and resulted in Bessborough Road, just off the junction to Lacelles, being partially closed off by police until around 3am this morning (17 October).

A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online: “Police were called at approximately 19:25hrs on Monday, 16 October to reports of a moped rider injured following a collision with a car in Lascelles Avenue, Harrow.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the rider, a man aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment; his condition is not life threatening.

“The car stopped at the scene.

“No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
