A moped rider was taken to hospital with a leg injury last night after a collision with a car on Courtenay Avenue, Harrow Weald.
The incident forced the road to close for just over an hour and a half after police were called at 23:47.
Images and footage sent to Harrow Online showed police and an ambulance on the bridge on Courtenay Ave.
A spokesperson for Met Police said in a statement, “Officers were called at 23:47hrs on Wednesday, 18 October to Courtenay Avenue, Harrow.
“A collision was reported between a car and a motorcycle. Officers and LAS and LFB attended the scene.
“The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with an injury to his leg, the injuries were not life-threatening or changing.
“The road was closed while emergency services deal, but reopened at about 01:30hrs.”
