In a recent incident reported by MPS Harrow, local police successfully arrested a suspected burglar in Harrow who was found in possession of 143 stolen items from a burgled house.
MPS Harrow reported the incident via social media, stating that their team collaborated with officers from Response policing to catch the suspect.
Following a chase, police officers managed to detain the burglar, seizing the stolen goods.
Their post on X read: “Yesterday (1 November) Sgt Glenn’s Team assisted officers from Response policing to a Suspect who had just burgled a house.
“Suspect was chased and detained by officers, 143 items were seized and due to return to the owner.”
Later that day, Harrow Police posted via OWL, “On 1st November 2023 at 16:30 hours a burglary occurred at an address on Wood End Ave.
“Suspect gained entry via the french doors at the back of the house but was seen jumping over the garden fence after coming down the drain pipe from the bathroom window.
“After a foot chase the suspect was caught by Police and arrested with the property from the house.”
