Thousands of people gathered at Byron Park in Wealdstone tonight for the annual Harrow Fireworks Display.
Guy Fawkes Night, on November 5th, and Diwali, the Festival of Lights, coincide, bringing people together at Harrow Fireworks each year.
This year was no exception, there were a plethora of fairground rides and amusements on hand to keep guests entertained throughout the buildup to the display, including a pre-fireworks show for children.
Luckily, the weather held out and there was no rain whatsoever for the duration of the event – despite predictions of a downpour from some channels.
New food outlets, including a donut stall and hot chocolate stand, stood out and kept people warm as they waited patiently for the display to start.
David Silber, Founder of Harrow Fireworks, said, “It’s such an honour to bring the display back to Harrow year after year, it’s so nice to see everyone enjoying themselves and I hope to see you all again next year.
“Thanks to Harrow Council, all of my team and especially all the guests that came along to enjoy the display.”
The display itself was one of the largest to date, accompanied by a musical score featuring Disney classics, video game themes and contemplate music to accompany the spectacular fireworks.
