Firefighters were called to a second incident on Sheepcote Road, Harrow, within 24 hours after a shop was flooded due to a burst pipe.
The previous incident, a fire at a restaurant yesterday evening, was completely unrelated but happened just yards away from the incident this afternoon.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said in a statement, “Firefighters from Harrow Fire Station are responding to flooding caused by a burst pipe, in a commercial property with flats above, on Sheepcote Road. Crews are currently working to isolate the water supply to the property.
“The Brigade was first called about the incident at 1402, and crews remain on scene.”
