A large police presence was spotted in Harrow Town Centre after an incident near Katie’s Statue.
At around 4:45pm a male was arrested by police with three vehicles, unmarked cars and a number of officers swarming the scene on Station Road, Harrow.
One person told Harrow Online, “We have just seen CID driving towards Harrow Town Centre and there are loads of police near the statue. Think someone has been arrested.”
A spokesperson for Met Police stated that “A male was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and remains in custody.”
