Person arrested after teenage girl ‘locked in shop’ in Hatch End

A person has been arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment after a teenage girl was reportedly locked in a shop in Hatch End.

The incident happened in Uxbridge Road, Hatch End on Thursday 9 November at around 9pm.

A spokesperson for Met Police said, “Police were called to Uxbridge Road, Pinner following a report that a young girl had been locked in a shop.

“Officers attended the scene and found that a 14 year-old girl had been locked in for around 10 minutes. The girl was not harmed.”

The person was arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment and has since been bailed whilst enquiries continue.
