A large quantity of Class A drugs have been seized in South Harrow after joint efforts between local police and the community.
Posting the ‘Good News Update’ on X (formerly Twitter), Harrow MPS said, “Working with the local community, Roxeth, Roxbourne and Rayners Lane safer neighbourhood teams have seized a significant amount of class. A drugs after a warrant was executed as a Harrow address.
“The activity followed concerns from residents about drug dealing in and around the Northolt Road area. Thanks to this engagement with Police, and the information provided, officers were able to apply for a search warrant, which was executed on Friday, 17th November.
“A man was charged with intent to supply crack, cocaine, possession of criminal property, and possession of an offensive weapon and will appear at court in the coming days.”
Sgt Glenn Martin, Neighbourhood Policing North West Command said: “I would like to thank the local community for working with us to bring about and support this investigation. Without them, the end result would not have been possible.
“This is community policing at its best, and what is the local neighbourhood teams are dedicated to achieving – tackling those issues that matter most to their communities.”
