Police called to Watford Town Centre after coffee shop ‘altercation’

Police were called to Watford Town Centre on Sunday after reports of an altercation inside a coffee shop.

Images sent to Harrow Online showed at least three police cars in Watford Town Centre shortly after 3pm.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police confirmed that police were called at 3.10pm on Sunday 26 November, to “report an altercation inside Pret A Manger on the High Street, Watford.”

“It was reported that one man had assaulted another man. A 54-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of common assault and being drunk and disorderly.”
