Northolt Road in South Harrow was closed off in both directions at the junction with Wyvenhoe Road due to a collision this morning.
The incident happened at around 6:45am. The road was reopened at around 8am. A woman was rushed to hospital as a priority patient.
The incident affected multiple bus routes, including the 140, 395, 398, 487, and SL9. For commuters relying on these services, particularly those needing South Harrow station, diversions were in place.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called today (29 November) at 6:32am to reports of a road traffic collision between a car and a pedestrian at the junction between Northolt Road and Torrington Drive, Harrow.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew and a medic in a fast-response car.
“We treated a woman at the scene before taking her to hospital as a priority.”
