Man dies in Northolt collision after falling from bridge

A man believed to be in his 20s has died after a collision at the Target Roundabout in Northolt in the early hours of this morning.

Police were called at 00:58am on Thursday, 30 November following a collision involving a lorry and a man on the A40 Western Avenue, at the Target Roundabout.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 1.02am today (30 November) to reports of an incident on Western Avenue, Greenford.

“We sent an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, a medic in a fast response car and a clinical team manager to the scene. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance by car.

“Sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a person was pronounced dead at the scene.”

The man, aged in his 20s, is believed to have fallen from height from a bridge beforehand.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the lorry stopped and is assisting police with their enquiries. He has not been arrested.
