Thousands of complimentary spots await children and youth aged 5-16 at various local clubs and activities during this winter break. Each slot comes with the added benefit of a daily, wholesome meal at no cost. To qualify for these opportunities, families must live or study in Harrow and be recipients of means-tested free school meals.
Activities can be viewed and booked via youngharrowfoundation.org/haf-programme
There’s lots to keep kids busy – from multi-sport, boxing, forest school, cooking club, theatre and music camp, and lots more! There is something for every child to keep them stay active and enjoying their school holiday. As with every HAF programme, there are a number of specialist high-need SEND programmes, and a range of mainstream inclusive activities.
This year Harrow will get it’s very own Winter Wonderland on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd December, which will be totally free for HAF eligible families to enjoy with their children. The experience is being run by Magna Group and eligible children age 5-11 will get to enjoy festive activities including Santa’s grotto, elves workshops, arts and crafts, inflatables, funfair rides, silent disco, dodgems and more! The four hour experience will include a free hot meal for children.

Dan Burke, CEO of Young Harrow Foundation, said: “We’re really happy to be working with local organisations to offer another exciting lineup of activities for children and young people this winter holiday. Many families in Harrow have come to rely on The HAF programme over school holidays – whether that’s for trusted high-quality childcare or simply for their child to have access to amazing activities, and food, for free.
“We’re thrilled to be able to offer families something extra special and the chance to get to enjoy some festive fun, for free.”
