In a post via the OWL network, PCSO Lisa Saunders, the Dedicated Ward Officer for the area, issued a notice regarding a series of vehicle break-ins that occurred in South Harrow.
The incidents took place on the night of December 9th, between 11:00pm and 1:00pm the following day.
The targeted areas included Sherwood Road, Stanley Road, and Northolt Road, all situated near Park Lane. In each case, the perpetrator(s) employed a similar method, smashing the vehicles’ windows and rifling through the interiors in search of items that could be easily converted to cash.
Vehicle owners are strongly advised to take precautionary measures to safeguard their vehicles. For those with keyless entry systems, PCSO Lisa Saunders mentioned the importance of utilising Faraday bags for key storage. For vehicles equipped with traditional key fobs, ensuring that the vehicle is securely locked is crucial.
PCSO Lisa Saunders urges residents to remain vigilant and follow these guidelines to minimise the risk of becoming a victim of vehicle break-ins.
