Residents in the Eastcote Lane area of Harrow are on alert following a reported burglary that occurred on Saturday, 9th December, between 7.40pm and 9.40pm. The incident took place near the cross road, where suspects gained unauthorised access through a rear upstairs window.
The stolen items include jewellery and cash, and it is believed that the thieves exploited the accessibility of the property through an alleyway at the rear. It has been reported that the alley gate, meant to secure the area, was left open, providing an easy entry point.
PCSO Louise Nicholson said via OWL, “PLEASE if you have a rear service road that leads to a gate PLEASE ensure its closed at all times. Suspects will use any means to access properties if the opportunity arises.”
