B&M applies for premises license at former Wilko unit in Harrow Town Centre

Retail giant B&M has submitted an application for a premises license for the former Wilko unit in St George’s Shopping Centre, Harrow Town Centre – a space that once housed the iconic Woolworths in the 1990s and early 2000s.

B&M Retail Limited officially lodged the application with Harrow Council on December 14, 2023. The request seeks the granting of a Premises License for the B&M Store, formerly known as Wilko MSU2, situated in St George’s Shopping Centre on St Ann’s Road, Harrow HA1 1HS.

The proposed license aims to permit off-sales of alcohol and extend the opening hours from 07:00am to 11:00pm, seven days a week. The move has sparked significant interest and discussions among the local community, particularly on Harrow Online, where speculation had been rife about the future occupant of the unit following Wilko’s closure in Harrow Town Centre.

A decision is expected by January 11, 2024. B&M have been contacted for comments on the exiting news of their opening in Harrow.
