Police appeal after shop ram-raided in Watford

Police are appealing for information after a shop was ram-raided in the early hours of this morning in Watford.

The incident occurred at around 2.38am on Thursday 21 December at the Cycles UK shop in St Albans Road.

It is reported that a green Orbea bicycle has been taken worth approximately £4,000 and the front of the shop has been heavily damaged.

It is believed that the suspect left the scene in a red Ford vehicle.

PC Rhys Brain who is investigating said: “I am appealing to anyone who might have been driving in the area at the time, or any businesses along the road who may have footage which could help with enquiries.
