“Don’t forget to claim your one hour’s free parking when picking up those last-minute gifts,” he advises.

Highlighting the community’s generosity, Cllr Osborn shares a heartwarming initiative by the Pinner Association of Churches. “Harrow has a great generosity of spirit, which is especially in evidence at this time of year. In my part of the borough, I’m aware of a great initiative offered by Pinner Association of Churches, which provides Christmas lunch for people who would otherwise be alone”

Acknowledging the festive break, Cllr Osborn announces a temporary hiatus for MyHarrow News. “MyHarrow News will take a break till the new year, and there are changes to other council services to be aware of too – you can see our revised Christmas bin collection dates below.”

He also ensures that essential services continue, stating, “Harrow Recycling Centre is open every day, except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.”
