A large number of emergency services rushed to Harrow & Wealdstone and Kenton Stations this afternoon after reports of a casualty on the tracks in between the two stations.
The Bakerloo Line was part suspended from Stonebridge Park and Harrow & Wealdstone whilst emergency services attended the scene.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were also been seen at Kenton Station where, sadly, a person was pronounced dead.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said, “Officers were called to the line near Kenton railway station just after 2pm today following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. British Transport Police are currently working to establish the full circumstances behind their death.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called today (Wednesday) at 2.04pm to reports of a casualty on the tracks near Kenton Railway station, HA3.
“We sent numerous resources including ambulance crews, an incident response officer, members of our hazardous area response team (HART) and London’s air ambulance.
“Sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.”
