Police took the decision to shoot and kill a dog that had killed another dog in Northolt, Greenford this morning.
According to the police, the dog was ‘out of control’ and ‘had killed another dog at the location’. Officers acted to prevent it causing any further serious harm, the force said.
Ealing Police posted the following statement on X, “We were called at 10:39hrs on 14 Jan to a report of a dog out of control having killed another dog in Queens Ave, Greenford.
“Officers attended and took the decision to destroy the dog at the scene in order to prevent it from causing further serious harm…
“We know that this will have been upsetting for those present. We do ask that footage of the incident isn’t shared.”
