Update on Harrow travel disruptions this weekend

Commuters in Harrow are facing a weekend of travel disruptions as both the Piccadilly and Metropolitan Lines undergo service suspensions for part of their routes.

Piccadilly Line Service Suspension

On Saturday, January 20, and Sunday, January 21, the Piccadilly Line will not be operating between South Harrow and Uxbridge. This suspension is part of the ongoing maintenance and upgrade work planned for this weekend.

Metropolitan Line Service Changes

Similarly, the Metropolitan Line will see a suspension of services between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Uxbridge during the same period. Additionally, there are reported minor delays between Moor Park and Harrow-on-the-Hill due to a points failure at Moor Park. However, the rest of the Metropolitan Line is maintaining a good service.

Replacement Bus Service ML1

To mitigate the impact of these disruptions, a replacement bus service, ML1, will be in operation. This service will run between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Uxbridge, covering key stations along the route. These include West Harrow (Treve Avenue), South Harrow, Rayners Lane, Eastcote, Ruislip Manor, Ruislip, Ickenham, and Hillingdon. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and allow extra time for travel.
