Harrow experienced a power cut this morning, primarily affecting the Harrow Town Centre and Harrow on the Hill areas.
The outage, first reported at 10:32, was unexpected, as confirmed by UK Power Networks. The issue was traced to a fault in equipment at a local substation on London Road.
UK Power Networks initially estimated power restoration between 14:30 and 15:30, but that was subject to change depending on the complexity of the issue discovered on-site.
The company assured that their engineers will work swiftly and safely to resolve the issue and will provide manual updates throughout the process. They apologised for any inconvenience caused by this unforeseen outage.
Update: Estimated time for power to be back on is now 17:30 – 18:30. A fault has occurred on an underground electricity cable affecting the local area, engineers may have to dig up the road to carry out repairs.
