Large film crew spotted in Pinner for rumoured ‘big project’

A large film crew has been spotted my members of Harrow Online near Chapel Lane, leading to the rear of shops including WH Smith in Pinner.

The area has been bustling with personnel, camera crew, and equipment. A fleet of filming trucks and vehicles has occupied the Chapel Lane Car Park. This development follows recent filming activity in Harrow, including the use of Harrow Town Centre for a Black Mirror episode and Sir Anthony Hopkins filming “One Life” in Pinner in September 2022.

Sir Anthony Hopkins, an 85-year-old screen legend, features in the role of Sir Nicholas Winton, known for organising Kindertransport trains that rescued mainly Jewish children from former Czechoslovakia before World War Two.

One member of Harrow Online said, “You should see the amount of production crew members that are in Pinner car park today, the one near the memorial park. There seems to be a big project being filmed. I can’t get near it, my son said they are filming a new Netflix show so it might be worth checking out.”

Another member told us, “This is a big project. I can’t say too much but it will be as big as the Black Mirror show, it’s a real coup for Harrow this is. You can see how much budget they have, there’s a huge crane cam that is visible from the trains.”

Conflicting reports have emerged regarding the current production. Some crew members have suggested it’s for an advert, while local residents speculate it might be a Netflix show. The exact nature of the project remains shrouded in mystery.
