Hatch End blocked off after collision involving five vehicles

Uxbridge Road in Hatch End was blocked off by police following a collision involving four cars and a moped at around 6:20pm this evening.

The road was blocked in both in both directions at Hatch End Station due to the collision.

Bus routes affected included the H12 and H14, which were on diversion.

A spokesperson for Met Police confirmed that this was a collision near Hatch End Station involving four cars and a moped. They added, “The moped rider is injured and taken to hospital but assessed as non life-threatening.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 6.22pm on Saturday (28 Jan) to reports of a road traffic collision in the Uxbridge Road, Hatch End, HA5.

“We sent numerous resources to the scene including ambulance crews and a team leader. We treated a man before taking him to hospital.”
