Boy, 15, stabbed in North Harrow incident

Multiple emergency service vehicles rushed to North Harrow this evening after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed near the train station.

The parade of shops near the junction of Cambridge Road and Station Road have been cordoned off since around 5:15pm. North Harrow station remains open.

A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online: “Officers have made an arrest after a teenage boy was injured in a stabbing in North Harrow.

“We were called at 17:08hrs on Tuesday, 20 February after a 15-year-old boy was found with a stab wound in Station Road.

“He was taken to hospital where his injury was assessed as not life-threatening. His family have been informed.

“A 16-year-old boy was arrested nearby on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He remains in custody at a north London police station.

“Our investigation continues and any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 5389/20Feb.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson added: “We were called at 5.14pm on Tuesday 20 February to reports of a stabbing at North Harrow Station.

“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and members of our tactical response unit.

“Our first medics arrived at the scene in six minutes.

“We treated a teenage boy at the scene for abdomen injuries before taking him to hospital.”
