First photos from South Harrow ‘murder’ scene as community reacts

The first photos show the scene in South Harrow tonight where a man, believed to be in his 30s, has been stabbed to death.

Emergency service, including Police, London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance all rushed to the scene at Hamilton Crescent, South Harrow near Alexandra Avenue at around 2:05pm this afternoon.

In a statement provided to Harrow Online, Metropolitan Police have confirmed that no arrests have been made in relation as yet.

A large crime scene remains in place at the scene along with a police tent.

The Harrow community have been reacting to the news via social media. On the Harrow Online Facebook page, one person said, “Not another one this area getting scary now getting scared to leave home coz’ its like a battlefield out there.”

Another person said, “This is yet another incident, what is going on. It’s getting worse.”

Another member said, “I asked a police officer what happened and was told ‘not allowed to say’, came home and read it in here!”.

The police cordon at the scene covers the entire estate around Hamilton Crescent with police expected to be at the location for some considerable time.
