South Harrow: Man stabbed to death, police launch murder investigation

A man has died after being stabbed in an incident in South Harrow this afternoon (26th Feb). Police have now launched a murder investigation.

Numerous police vehicles are currently stationed at the junction of Hamilton Crescent, just off Kings Road in South Harrow. At least three police cars are on the scene this afternoon along with an ambulance.

A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online: “A murder investigation is under way following a stabbing in Harrow.

“Police were called at approximately 14:05hrs on Monday, 26 February to reports of a man suffering a stab injury in Hamilton Crescent.

“Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance all attended the scene.

“The victim – believed aged in his 30s – was pronounced dead at the scene.

“A crime scene remains in place.

“No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue.”

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 2:01pm on Monday 26 February to reports of a stabbing on Hamilton Crescent, Harrow.

“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a medic in a fast response car and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“Sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a person was pronounced dead at the scene.”
