Lily Dolling, a rising 18-year-old star from Harrow Boxing Club, has secured a coveted spot to represent England in the upcoming European Championships in Croatia.

This achievement comes hot on the heels of her remarkable success in the ring, clinching three national titles within just five months.

Lily’s journey to the championships has been nothing short of impressive. Having only stepped into the ring for her first bout in May 2023, she wasted no time in making her mark. With determination and skill, she claimed victory in the Youth Development Championships at under 75kg in October.

Following this triumph, she continued her winning streak by seizing the NABGC Championships title at under 70kg in December. Most recently, she added another feather to her cap by clinching the England Boxing Youth Championship final in February, also at under 70kg.

This succession of wins has caught the attention of selectors, who have now entrusted Dolling with the honor of representing her country on the European stage. To prepare for the challenge ahead, Dolling is dedicating her weekends to training with Team GB, honing her skills and fine-tuning her technique.

In addition to her boxing prowess, Dolling also showcases her talents on the football field, playing for MK Dons in the FA National Women’s Leagues.

Luke Robinson, Harrow Boxing Club coach, told Harrow Online: “As a coach I think Lily can go all the way she has power in both hands and think she has all the potential to reach the 2028 Olympics. Everyone at the club is proud and she is a great role model to all.”
