Harrow Council seeks feedback on Bentley Priory dog control measures

Harrow Council wants to hear your thoughts on Bentley Priory’s future. Specifically, they’re looking at how to manage dogs in this important natural area to prevent problems and protect wildlife.

Residents still have a chance to share their views via a consultation process that will help shape the area’s Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) for 2024.

The Council aims to address issues related to nuisance and anti-social behaviour, particularly concerning the management of dogs in this area of special scientific interest and nature reserve.

Anyone Interested can participate in an in-person event scheduled for Friday, 15 March, from 1pm to 4pm at the Old Lodge Way entrance.

Council representatives will be available to answer questions and assist with the survey, which is also accessible online at MyHarrow Talk until the consultation closes on 7 April.

This consultation follows a previous eight-week survey conducted between March and May 2023, which saw a significant engagement from the community.

The current consultation specifically focuses on Bentley Priory, exploring options for dog control measures to ensure the protection of visitors and wildlife. Feedback from this consultation, along with previous responses, will be considered in final decisions.

For more information or to participate in the consultation, visit the Bentley Priory PSPO 2024 engagement page on the Harrow Council website.
