Renowned educator and rapper MC Grammar brought a wave of excitement to Roxbourne Primary School in Harrow on World Book Day, as he surprised the students with an educational rap performance.

The atmosphere was described as ‘electric’ as MC Grammar seamlessly blended music and literacy, captivating the entire school with his unique style.

Accompanied by the amazing school choir, he led an interactive session where popular nursery rhymes were given a hip-hop twist, much to the delight of the students.

The event, which took place to co-inside with the World Book Day celebrations, was a testament to the power of creativity and storytelling. Both pupils and teachers joined in with by rapping nursery rhymes alongside MC Grammar!

Roxbourne Primary School’s approach to World Book Day is distinctive; each pupil receives a plain white t-shirt and is assigned a diverse book to read throughout the week.

The creativity doesn’t stop there—students use fabric pens to design and personalise their shirts, drawing inspiration from the texts they’ve explored in class.
