Police cordon off pub entrance in Harrow Town Centre after woman assaulted

A pub’s front entrance in Harrow was cordoned off by police on Sunday, 31 March after a woman was reportedly assaulted.

The front entrance of Wetherspoons on Station Road, Harrow Town Centre, was cordoned off with police tape after the incident took place shortly before 6pm.

Officers remained on the scene for a few hours after a woman was taken to hospital.

The pub remained open to customers via the side entrance.

A spokesperson for Met Police said in a statement, “Police were called at about 17:55hrs on Sunday, 31 March to reports that a woman had been assaulted on Station Road in Harrow.

“She was taken to hospital for treatment. Her injuries were not life-threatening.

“Two women were arrested and later bailed pending further enquiries.”
