Resident fined over £2,000 for playing ‘amplified news broadcasts’ and music in Brent

A Brent resident has been fined £2,400 after playing loud ‘news broadcasts’ and music.

Brent Council posted on X, “Noisy neighbour handed a whopping fine.

“A resident who kept playing loud music & amplified news broadcasts during noise-sensitive hours has been slapped with a whopping fine after a court hearing

“£2,400 total payable

“Residents let our Our Nuisance Control Team know, who target those who choose to make neighbours lives miserable through nuisance causing loss of sleep.”

Cllr Harbi Farahh said: “Residents should be able to have a good time without worrying that their neighbourhood is affected by noisy neighbours.”

It was not specified where exactly in Brent the resident was located.
