Belmont Circle Incident: Man fighting for his life after assault

Police cordoned off an entire row of shops in Harrow after reports of an altercation near Belmont Circle which has left a man in a life-threatening condition.

Multiple members of Harrow Online contacted us with images showing the shops on Belmont Circle with a large cordon in place.

A spokesperson for Met Police told Harrow Online, “Police were called at 01:17hrs on Sunday, 7 April, to reports of a disturbance at Belmont Circle, Harrow.

“A 41-year-old man was found at the scene suffering head injuries which have been assessed as life threatening.

“Enquiries are focusing on an altercation in Station Parade at around 00:45hrs in which the victim is believed to have been assaulted by a group of males.

“One male has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and has been bailed pending further enquiries.”

This is an ongoing investigation, any witnesses yet to speak to Police are asked to call 101, ref 463/07Apr.
