Emergency services rush to Wembley to help man ‘trapped’ after collision involving lorry

Emergency services rushed to Wembley today after a collision involving a motorbike delivery driver and a lorry.

Images sent to Harrow Online showed both London Fire Brigade (LFB) and London Ambulance Service at the scene on Wembley High Road at the Ealing Road junction. The delivery driver was rescued by LFB.

A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said, “We were called at 12pm to a road traffic collision on Ealing Road, at the junction of High Road, in Wembley. A lorry and a motor scooter were involved.

“Firefighters released one man who was trapped following the collision. He was treated by London Ambulance Service along with another man. Two fire engines and a fire and rescue unit from Wembley Fire Station attended the scene.”

A London ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 11:52 this morning (April 10) to report of a road traffic collision involving a motorbike and a lorry and the junction of High Road and Ealing Road, HA0.

“We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an advanced paramedic, and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“We treated a patient and discharged them at the scene.”
