As local schools reopen after a two-week Easter break, commuters in Harrow should brace themselves for potential delays as several roadworks projects kick off this week.

Starting tomorrow, on April 16th, London Road in Stanmore will undergo planned works until April 18th. Temporary obstructions are expected, causing up to a 15-minute delay. The responsibility for these works lies with Harrow Council, in coordination with Transport for London (TfL).

Similarly, Mayfield Avenue in Kenton will be affected by road closures from April 16th to April 22nd. This time, UK Power Networks will be conducting planned work, with potential delays for commuters.

Residents in North Harrow should note that Southfield Park will experience road closures on April 15th. Thames Water is undertaking planned works, and delays are anticipated.

For those traveling through West Harrow, Vaughan Road will be closed from April 15th to April 17th. Again, it’s Harrow Council overseeing the works.

In Edgware, Turner Road will have traffic control measures in place from April 17th to April 19th. This includes two-way signals managed by the council.

Churchill Road in Edgware will also see temporary obstructions from April 16th to April 18th, potentially causing 15-minute delays.

Meanwhile, Culver Grove in Stanmore will experience traffic control measures from April 17th to April 19th.

Residents of Kenton should be aware of roadworks on Daintry Close from April 15th to April 16th. Thames Water will be implementing traffic control measures during this time.
