Costa Coffee have announced that Mihaela Manta, a barista from the store located at Northolt Road in South Harrow, has advanced to the final of Costa Coffee’s UK&I Barista of the Year Competition.
Mihaela has reached the finals of the UK&I Barista of the Year after competing fiercely against hundreds of Costa Coffee baristas nationwide. In the regional stages, she showcased her skills and passion by crafting four Costa coffee beverages to exacting standards. Additionally, she demonstrated her expertise by creating and presenting her own unique hot drink.
The 2024 Barista of the Year final for the UK&I, a tradition of Costa Coffee for 17 years, is where Mihaela will compete on April 23rd and 24th in Liverpool. She will vie against 11 other finalists in three challenging rounds, testing their precision, creativity, and expertise.
The stakes are high as the winner, along with the second and third runners-up, will advance to compete for the prestigious title of Costa Coffee’s Global Barista of the Year in July 2024.
