If you fancy getting out in the fresh air, Stanmore Country Park is a fantastic place for a stroll and a picnic. Kids will love spotting the deer along with other wildlife in this great part of Harrow’s conservation area. Admission and parking are free of charge.

For the adults

While there are some great children’s events going on this year, summer’s not just for the kids – in fact, our borough has some pretty cool stuff for the grown ups too, including:

Oyster Festival at The Castle

If seafood is your bag, popular pub on Harrow on the Hill, The Castle, will be holding an oyster festival on Saturday the 24th August. Taking place on the pub’s pretty upstairs terrace, guests can indulge in oysters, barbecue and live music.
