Man arrested in Wealdstone after ‘punching and damaging’ vehicle

A man has been arrested in Wealdstone after reportedly damaging a vehicle yesterday, 29 April.

The incident happened on High Street, Wealdstone and was swiftly dealt with by local police officers from both Harrow Weald and Marlborough.

Harrow Metropolitan Police posted via their Instagram page, “Officers from Malborough and Harrow Weald SNT attended a call on High Street Wealdstone after reports of a male damaging a vehicle.

“One male was arrested for causing criminal damage and public order offences and will be appearing in Willesden Magistrates Court next month.”

Harrow police added in a statement to Harrow Online, “The team responded to an I grade on High Street Wealdstone from a tradesman who’s van was being punched and damaged by a male.”

An ‘I’ grade call is the MPS’s highest priority call, which requires a police response within 15 minutes from the time of receiving the call to a unit arriving to the incident.
