South Harrow Incident: Man arrested as police swarm quiet street

A man has been arrested in Harrow on suspicion of attempted GBH and assaulting an emergency services worker.

A large police presence was spotted at Parkfield Road, South Harrow yesterday evening (May 7) at around 8pm.

A spokesperson for Met Police said, “Police were called at approximately 19:55hrs on Tuesday, 7 May to reports of a disturbance at an address in Parkfield Road, Harrow.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man suffering injuries; he has been taken to hospital for treatment.

“A man – no further details – was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted GBH and assaulting an emergency services worker. He remains in custody.

“Enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
